RE: [DMCForum] Re: You other vehicle

Good information, thanks.  Do you have any idea what kind of fuel mileage
the F-350 gets?  I am considering an F-250 king cab 4x4 diesel automatic,
but have not been able to find any real numbers.

Power Stroke over Rammed any day, but sorry Greg your not my type...

Diesel is the only way to go.  Our diesel van gets 21mpg with no load
averaging 80mph, with a trailer and Porsche on it we did 19mpg @ 70-80mph.

My friend had a GMC 3500 duramax, and if I was only going to have an
occasional light load I would probably go that way.  But if you want to
pull load around you have to go with a stroke or ram and I just have not
been impress with how the dodge trucks have held up.  If you don't mind
a little trip you can find some really great deals in New Mexico and
Texas.  A dealer called me yesterday with a 99 F250 crew cab for only
$11k it has 140k miles, which seems high till you get into the diesel
world.  Our work truck ,99 F350, is getting close to 400k miles
