RE: [DMCForum] fuel and electrical suggestions...

Greg,
Houston isn't going to remake the box due to tooling cost. I called the
original company and Delorean burned them on money as far as I can tell and
they don't even want to talk about it. The original box has thin contact
material. So after a while the same thing that happened to the original will
happen to their replacement.
The box I have has contact material that is about 3 times thicker to help
eliminate the loose fuse terminals which causes an electrical short and melt
down problem. Updating the pump and not overloading the circuit will help
keep it in good shape.

First, Bill there is no need to tell me to swap everything for a
carburetor... it just ain't gonna happen :)

So, what is everyone's favorite set up for the fuel tank?  Right now I can
do pretty much anything I want.  I guess this and the electrical system
will
be next to do on my car.

Also, has anyone purchased the reproduction fuse box from DMCH yet?

  Greg
