Don't sweat it. Even though you'll lose points at DSC 2006 (is Ken
going to add a category?), you may find it more aerodynamic and less
resistant in daily use.

Since it's already modified, have you ever considered customizing it
further? Heard that somebody at Pigeon Forge added neon lights (had to
get down on your knees to see them).

Personally, young whipper snappers crack me up with their pimped out
shafts. Aftermarket add ons aren't going to help if the shaft is too
small to begin with! Back in the 70's we had *BIG* shafts. Were
substantially the same as shafts from the 60's, but much better
looking. Why Americans thought they had to downsize thereafter to
compete with little import shafts is beyond me (sorry Martin). I've
heard that little shafts are faster, but that seems like a liability,
not an asset.
