RE: [DMCForum] Re: back to Bush bashing (Dave Stragand II)

Uhh last time I looked, Iraq was really doing nothing to us.  Saddam never
threatened us, never bombed up... never did anything (to us, not his own
people, that?s a different argument).  I thought this war was against
Terrorists.  The 9/11 commission just found that there was no link between
Iraq and Osama.  So what are the soldiers there for?  What are they
protecting us from?

I believe unpatriotic is watching 3000 people killed, sending in fewer
troops to the "bad guys" country than we have cops in NYC (Afghanistan),
then deciding for no good reason to fulfill a vendetta against someone your
daddy hates and lying about why we were there.

If your alleged misappropriates were proved or actionable, there might be
some sort of legal case.  Since there's millions of liberals out there
looking for something to bitch about, if it were true it'd be revealed.
Until it's proven, it's all whiny bullshit.

Calling the lost troops 'unnecessary' is irreverent and grossly
unpatriotic.  They gave their lives in pursuits to protect the rest of
us.

If another 9/11 occurred you would be the first once to start whining
that not enough was done to prevent it.  Would another 3000 deaths in
this case be better than the 800?
