Don't sweat those plugs. Since you're flushing the block anyway,
antifreeze and loose particulates will come out the big return ports
no problem. Are no traditional coolant passages inside a PRV to worry
about clogging up.

Gravity will of course drain everything else (take one one or both
lines loose under the car. When my radiator was stopped up with
Cosmoline that's where we flushed it backwards and out the driver's side).

A super quick way to bleed the system is to fill it with the
thermostat out. Or you can let the engine run and bleed itself through
the hose attached to your thromostat housing (that's the "self
bleeder" you hear so much about).
