[DMCForum] Re: Air conditioning system - Attn: Marc Levy

Perhaps they don't build A/C compressors as well as they used to...

Might have died irrespective of conversion.

Across the board, automotive components these days are less sturdy
than their predecessors. Hear repair horror stories all the time Re:
contemporary vehicles. Contrast them with old full size domestics,
which you could actually abuse and they'd keep right on truckin'.

That's one of the biggest reasons I *USED* to use 26 year old Lincolns
as my daily transportation (ever since Pigeon Forge I've been driving
the mess out of the DeLo. Took a day or two to get over the 1,700
miles, then I jumped back into the groove).

Am enjoying the mess out of my new engine. You need to light a fire
under your EFI conversion. 100% guarantee you'll find the car
irresistable once you ditch K Jetronic, whatever method of fuel
delivery replaces it.
