Hey Marc,

I did the same thing because I didn't have the time or money to
grenade my evaporator because the dryer fittings were corroded in
place. We almost twisted the pipe off.

I was telling myself the same thing and wondering if I was crazy.
Hearing you say it independently makes me feel better about the
process.

Walt put the last can of R-134 into the system yesterday. I'm down to
48 degrees F. Hopefully it'll last.
