[DMCForum] Re: A strange and disturbing issue



You're talking about a "dead short" -- unfused connection directly
between battery terminals. Can happen whenever an unprotected 12v wire
touches something grounded. Did it to myself once with all those wires
on the back of the starter motor. Killed my battery within 15 minutes.
