Yesterday's surprise: when I went to put the motor mounts back on
discovered the engine castings were in a different location.

Guys at the shop welded up some adapters. Not the prettiest pieces of
metal, but they look like they should work. Will drill some holes and
try to bolt them up after work tonight.

This conversion has been one obstacle after another. Is close to
finished, but may miss Pigeon Forge by a week or so. Only time will
tell...

I'll see you at Pigeon Forge even if I end up driving a real car.
