As it turns out, it pays to ask. I went to the Mazda dealer and they said
that with a rear engine car like the DeLorean, I should have no problem
pulling it, the only issue might be that if I get into a hairy situation,
that weight might try to push me around. 

I've done plenty of towing so I know the drill. Best thing about it all is
that they have a tow dolly they are gonna lend me for free. So, I'm gonna
get the trailer a few days early and drag the DeLorean around and get a feel
for it. If it seems like it's too much for it to handle, I'll get a bigger
truck.

How friggin hard can it be to get the car 2 hours to PF?
