Re: [DMCForum] Making plans for PF

Travis,

Tow dolly will work.  I've hauled my MG's thousands of
miles with no problems, even did one backwards from
Long Island to Texas.  The big thing is to make sure
the steering lock is disengaged by having the key in
the ignition and in the accessory position.  Otherwise
you may break the locking mechanism in the steering
wheel, as the front wheels try to turn left and right
as you make turns with the tow vehicle.  Make sure you
disconnect the battery so you don't drain it during
the tow.

Also, because the front wheels rotate left and right I
recommend the wheel tie downs because these can't jump
off the wheels as long as they are the proper size and
installed correctly.
