Bill, This came up before about a year ago. I took a picture of the clutch
fork hold down spring for prosperity.

  the fork pivots on that piece of sheet metal, which is what mine was
  doing based on the wear pattern. Also explains why one ear snapped
  off. I'll simply fashion a new one.
