Yes, the "B27 camshaft problem" is lore among DeLorean owners only.
You don't encounter it in the Volvo newsgroups, unless someone is
dispelling the myth.

Minor engineering changes were made in the mid 70's, but that's long
before the B28. Oil pan was enlarged. A bypass valve was added to the
oil galley. Etc. But the only difference between B27 and B28
camshafts, certainly after introduction of K Jetronic (1977?) is size
of the lobes.
