That's a good point.  If you have a 6" wheel and a 45" wheel and set both to
1/4 degree the distance between the leading and trailing edge will be
different assuming the same pivot point. But with toe you are interested in
where the edges are with respect to each other.

It's too early to be thinking about stuff like this...
