[DMCForum] DeLorean Christmas here too!

Ah! Yes, I had a number of goodies too actually! I got the SS Illusion
book, the original owner's manual, lubricants, cleaners, couple of cans of
WD40, auto mechanic hand soap, wheel ramps supporting up to 8000lbs, a
100+ piece Craftsman tool kit, 1:43 DeLorean model, 2 1:18 DeLorean
models, and a sign to be mounted on a post saying "DeLorean Parking Only :
Look (with the o's being replaced by a pair of human eyes) but don't
touch!" No parts unfortunately, but for Mom and my fiance, I gave them
each a ride in my DeLorean - after all - I've only finally been able to
drive it for 2 days now. They loved it =)! I did too =P.

Well I had a DeLorean filled Christmas! Since we've to be out the door by
7am to go skiing tomorrow, we had our Christmas tonight. I got all sorts
of goodies... new window switches, louver struts, dome light, 2 Welly's
1/24 DeLoreans, and a BTTF shirt! I must say I'm very impressed with
Houston's window switches... they're MUCH more solid and higher quality
feeling than the original window switches. Plus they fit tighter and don't
move around like my originals did. It's nice to be able to roll down my
windows now and they will be guaranteed to come back up too! I already had
a Houston dome light up front in my car, but needed a rear one... I'm
still impressed at the quality of these lights. I was shocked by the BTTF
shirt, I had never seen one of them before! My Mom found it at Hot Topic,
a chain clothing store that is in almost every American mall. Here's the
shirt- http://www.hottopic.com/store/product.asp?LS=0
<http://www.hottopic.com/store/product.asp?LS=0&ITEM=246010&RN=265>
&ITEM=246010&RN=265 . I also got a Welly's BTTF 1 DeLorean, and a
Welly's stock DeLorean. I was impressed by these models, even though the
trunk doesn't open, the wheels don't turn, and there's no door windows or
engine cover (the louvers open to reveal the engine). I think the Welly's
models are the most proportionate and accurate DeLorean models I've seen
despite these shortcomings. They even got the stock front ride height
correct. Does anyone know if this company is related to Sunstar? They
seemed to use the same graphics on the packaging and stuff. Anyways, I
just wanted to share my DeLorean goodies. Everyone have a great and SAFE
Christmas! -Louie
