[DMCForum] Re: Oil Viscosity



My PRV has a check valve at filter inlet (in the block). Is this not
standard?

Fully agree most people running too light engine oil. Especially leery
of multi-viscosities. Are actually straight lower number with miracle
additives that are supposed to behave like higher when warm. For some
reason they separate with use. Oil change comes out in 2 parts: light
weight stuff runs out first like water, then the additives come out
like glop.

I run 30 weight in everything, including lawnmower. Never ever had a
single problem.
