Well every time I put more than a gal or 2 in something happens and I have
to drain it.  So till I am sure everything running correct I am only
keeping
enough in to run it.  I tend to run 1/4 to 1/8 at the very lowest in any
of
my driveable cars.

Are you philosophically opposed to filling tank? Even John Hervey's
bottom feeder will suck air if you let fuel level drop low enough
(especially on a car without lowered front end). I'd recommend running
less than 25% tank only as emergency. Is risk of sucking heavy trash
into pump, especially through old pickup screens. Been there, done it.
