Re: [DMCForum] SS heatshields?

Ok just make even more work for me... How thick is that SS they are
using?
And any idea what temp that muffler gets up to when the car is sitting
still? I would check mine but the GD MF fuel system is all f'd up and
sitting is pieces in my grandfathers garage. And I really hate to run the
engine more than I have to with my octane 92 IV dripping on the air plate,
bring on the safety lectures... I should have an all SS solution to the
in-tank fuel line problems, maybe even with TEC heat exchanger to cool the
fuel on its way to the pump.

I'm sure that Andrei Cular could come up with a
formula for the optimum air space. But really, the double
layer is overkill. At my earliest convenience I'm going to
use one of the layers on another car.
