Just read DMCNEWS group. Two bits of nonsense: - John H claims mere 10 volts into performance coil will burn it up. Not to be particular, but exact same coils are really designed for proprietary modules running off full 12-14 volts. They work fine with reduced voltage modules like ours, just don't produce as much HT. - David T claims A/C compressor sucks up too much electricity to be used at idle. Cooling fans maybe, but not compressor. Perhaps he meant compressor load on RPM's (where is wonderful automatic idle speed motor?). Posted replies if moderator chooses to let through...
