It was probably less than 20mph. There was a loud clunk, like when a half axle falls off. HAHA.. I don't know who can share the laughs with me there. Anyways... I pulled over to the side of the road without trouble to make sure all important parts were still attached. I couldn't really tell much, there was high enough grass to obstruct seeing anything. There was a side street up ahead, so i drove the car up to it and turned. Another clunk. Stopped again, still couldn't see anything. Half axle seemed like it was still in there. :P tried to move the driver's side tire, it looked straight and didn't move when I pushed it. Started suspecting the TAB, but wasn't really convinced anything was wrong yet (sigh). So I drove down the street, one hand on the steering wheel, the other on the sill, hanging halfway out the car, zero eyes on the road and two on the driver rear wheel. It looked fine, except under more than slight acceleration, the rear wheel turned out like 10 degrees and another clunk. So I called the tow truck. I'm not sure how other people's whole suspension starts bending out, maybe it's just at higher speeds. My trailing arm seemed pretty much trapped between the frame and body, allowing only like 10 degrees of movement. Like I said, pretty uneventful. Ah well.
