[DMCForum] "Acceleration problems" as listed in DMCnews

Travis,

Are you the person referenced in that article? It's under Tech
information library, acceleration problems.

It sounds eerily familiar. This is very like what I'm dealing with,
right down to the engine stutter/shake.

My RPM relay is new so this shouldn't be the problem, but I'll bet I
can bypass it and see what happens to my acceleration.

The article states that that may not have been what "Travis'" problem
was. If that is referring to you, what was your cure? Was it the RPM
relay or what?

The thing is, I bought my relay from Houston I think, and by the date
of mfg on it, it's NOS. (20 yrs old). Hell, it didn't work right when
I bought it. One of the contacts, (the one that triggers the lambda
relay) wasn't bent properly and wouldn't contact when the winding was
energized. I had to fix that.

Thanks,

Rich
