These parts are very easy to come by over here. It is not correct that 
you shouldn't drill out the adjustment plug - many of these engines left 
the factory running lean - if you don't mind overruling the lambda 
system, set the mixture at 1.5% (like Renault did) and feel the
difference.

I can find you a new adjustment assembly. Just gave one away 
actually.The Volvo engine had a screw instead of a solid plug.
