I'm sorry. I was not implying the Delorean is fast. Just mine:) 300 something HP and the g50 porsche transaxle. The race was from stop to like 60 or 70mph. Distance... uh? The miata was actually NOT the monster miata, this guy knew of that version and decided he could do the same for cheaper (the monster miata is like $55k). My Delorean is really fast in a straight line (like a 4.8sec 0-60), as was his car. I told him that if it made him feel any better, his car would blow the socks off the Delorean in the windies. After the drag, I was thinking- what the hell just happened? Is my car really slow or was that a really fast miata? Anyone who has driven the miata knows that they are sadly underpowered.
