[DMCForum] cooling fan cycling

I am doing some experimenting with aftermarket radiator fans and want to
hear from some of you what the average time interval that your radiator
fans
stay on.  The conditions that I am looking for are:
Hot day
Car fully warmed up
Engine running at idle
Air conditioning and heater off.

What I want to know is how long your cooling fans stay on like this.
