hey guys, Well it was only yesterday I managed to find time to take my center console off to get at my ac mode switch to fix the leaking hissing sound coming from back there. At the back of the switch there was a rubber boot, and it was loose, so I pushed it back on tightly and suddenly the leak was gone and for the first time ever sinceI have owned the car the center console vent opened and started pumping out plenty air! Great news. Anyway, the switch still makes hissing noises if I put it onto the dual mode, or windshield defrost mode, but not on vent mode.
