Its probably not due to rust, but often just due to grey epoxy under and
around the "Earth" bolt, remove, clean everything up really well, then a
smear of Vaseline as you re-assemble.
I'm with Jan, buy a trolley Jack and a pair of stands, John. Its about time
you got your hands dirty!

I bought two of the DMCH blank switches (1 to be used for the fog
