--yes most insurance companys try to pay you bottom book,if your car
is a total loss,i spoke to my insurance company and asked what
payout id expect to get, my car is mint 13 k from new all
original, interia as new chassie has no rot etc etc, they said without
an agreed valuation id get 3500 pounds for it,i couldnt under stand
that as thats unheard of a delorean selling for that, apparently all
they did was look in the back of pratical classics magazeen and yes
there you have it bottom book was 3500 then good condition was 8500
and top wak i think was 10 or 12 k,this was 18 months ago,iv checked
that magazeen recently and the prices havnt changed,so please anyone
who sees a below average condition d and are asking book price let
me know il give you 1000 pound extra for it,
they told me that an agreed valuation involves 15 pounds
plus lots of photos and the delorean club saying yes the cars worth
x amount and hey presto in the event of the car being a total loss
your covered,so well worth doing, the agreed valuation stands for 12
months,
just some advice if you tell them you think its worth say 12
they will come back and say 11 so add 1000 pounds to your value,i
garantee they will come back with less
