Hi all, i spoke to my insurance company today,to change my address
and i queeried agreed value. From what they said the 15k it is insured
for is not neccesarilly the amount i will get if it is stolen or
damaged or burnt.
They told me i will only get the market value of the car in these
curcumstancies, which could be way below that ammount.
So the long and the short of it is , they may need to be valued by a
club member who has a good idea of what they are worth.
I hope you dont mind me metioning this but i recently got payed out
on a total loss which sell for around £1400, and only recieved £950
which was the book value.and would hate for anyone being caught out and
not getting a decent payout.
Im not saying this is true of all insurance companies but my one AON
does as far as i understand have this policy.
Thanks Tony Vin 3484 doc 398
