hi Mike
yeah thanks, this is the way i sussed out. should the lower column
be very tight in the bushing.
mine is pretty tight, and difficult to turn wheel with just the
lower shaft connected. (i did when the bushing was missing though).
am scared to enlarge the bushing hole as i don't want play in the
finished result, and have to do it all again!.
after this job, is replace screen and small weld(after removing
tank).
will fit new coil, refit air ducting, fit replacment temporary seats.
then maybe try that MOT.
