Re: [DML] SS Alternator Tensioners (Ver. 2)

Hi Jordan,

Sorry you didn't like the video.  Our friend Steve made it, and because I don't own a 2.85L PRV myself, it was the only way to show the bracket installed on a 2.85L PRV, which was requested.

You have several 5-star options:

1.  You can mail it back to me!  No sweat!

2.  You can drill out a larger 5/16" hole in your alternator.  This will allow for the tensioner bracket to work as originally designed.  Sounds scary, but is actually easy since the material is aluminum and you're only enlarging it by 1 or 2 mm.

3.  You can determine the size of the bolt that you have.  From the photos, I can't tell if it's size M6 or M7.  Either way, I can supply you with a new bolt and/or "receiver" that will work for your application.  No charge as long as you throw the old parts into a mailing envelope.

Hope that helps,

Matt
