[DML] Re: door handle

Hi Ed -

 

The outside handles are identical for driver or passenger side, and I have one used but fully functional original plastic one left over from when the other one broke on 1662 and I changed out the pair for the replacement metal versions from DMCH.  It is boxed up in the packaging that came with the new replacement one, including the detailed replacement instructions, which of course, are the same for either original or new versions.  They appear to only sell the new metal ones now, so I guess the original plastic ones must be all gone from their NOS, and if so, then finding a good used one is not only a bargain, but also more "points" I guess if you're working towards concours ;-)  Drop me a line at whocruiser AT aol DOT com with what you're willing to offer - Dan Harris
