Does accelerometer account for factors like wind resistance, road resistance, shift timing, etc over a set period if time or just the initial movement of the car when it starts to move?

Hey, what's up with the 0-60 times?? 10.5 seconds? Seems like a lot to me.
My car, 100% stock, 5-speed runs 8.0 - 8.1 seconds consistently. This number
comes from an accelerometer measurements in the real world. A very accurate
way of measuring real acceleration. It's a big difference...
