RE: [DML] Battery Charger usage question

I?ve been using one of these on both my collector car and my fiancée?s
DeLorean:

They?ve been great and have certainly extended the life of the battery over
what I would normally get with a stored car.

I connect the positive lead to the positive post on the engine compartment
and the negative lead to the engine hoist ?eyelet? near the valve over on
the passenger side of the car.

Subject: [DML] Battery Charger usage question

Hi everyone,

Quick question regarding the use of a battery charger in our cars: is it
better to remove the battery from the car before charging it, or can you
charge it while in the car? For example, could you connect one of the
charger leads to the jump-start post in the engine compartment and the other
to...? Engine block?

Thanks,
