I know I am just feeding the trolls here, but two things make no sense:

Why did you have to do a "ground up restoration" on a brand new car in 1982?

Taxes on the value of the car go to your state DMV at time of sale.  What
would you have to pay your local township for?

BTW:  non of this makes sense or matters on the topic of a buyer coming to
you with a book in hand.  Your REALLY searching to make a point.
