[DML] Mechanical Assitance for Delorean Owners

Besides the club functions and local owner get-togethers, many owners help each other with their cars. I can't travel like Bill does, I offer technical assistance using this Forum and physical assistance to any owners nearby. I WILL make an open offer for anyone willing to travel to me, I will help them get their K-Jet system running as best as I can. I do not have a large stock of parts, the owner will have to have them and/or pay for them, I will give my labor for free. I have a smoke machine to find vacuum leaks, a fuel gauge to test pressures, an injector tester/cleaner, and all of the necessary hand tools. I am offering an alternative to a fuel system conversion. I am putting my time (no money) where my mouth is. If you are having that much trouble with your K-jet that you think you have to remove it, and no one can fix it, I am betting I can. I have fixed difficult and hard to diagnose problems for many owners without having to replace entire systems. Do not consider this free, it is going to cost something for travel and parts. I do not want to compete with any Delorean center but I will attempt to fix specific fuel system problems. Any owner needing this kind of assistance must make advance arrangements so we can have what parts we think we need ordered and delivered in advance. I do have a running Delorean so worst case we could "borrow" something off of my car. Any takers E-Mail me off-list.
