[DML] Re: Ground Bus Redux

Someone already suggested that the caps were added to actually "over engineer" the electrical system to ensure that electrical noise would not interfere with the radio - just in case. But that seems to be an explanation you cannot consider - the only plausible explanation in Bill's mind is the DeLorean sucks. This attitude of yours is what makes everyone so upset with you and is one of the reasons you have been banned from DMCTalk. Do you ever learn?

It was and is unless it is compromised by corrosion. The discussion about the capacitors is a "red herring" and has nothing to do directly with the operation of the grounding system. Their only use is to reduce any interference on the electrical system that could cause a problem for the radio. If all of the caps bother you, you can upgrade the radio and then you wouldn't need any. Newer radios have much better internal suppression and signal-to-noise ratios.
