Re: [DML] Spec .02 Steering -- Success

It is called Spec .02 because Spec .01 (rag joint) didn't work.

Borgeson sells steering components. That's it. It is up to the end user to put them together (insert shaft into hole...). Not exactly rocket science.

I called Borgeson looking for Matt Spittle's order. I wanted to know the size and spline count of the DeLorean components. The Borgeson rep was the one who told me -- unprompted, thank you very much: I was looking for Matt's order -- about Toby's orders. Pretty much word for word: "the guy buying these isn't named Matt, he's named Toby." If you don't like Borgeson handing out customer info, complain to them.

Anyway, I have freely shared not only the part numbers I used, but also the length of my shaft. Isn't that what this community is supposed to be all about -- freely sharing information for everyone's benefit? Anyone who wants to recreate my lower column can simply call Borgeson and buy what I bought. I don't even care if Borgeson uses my name.
