It *STARTED* as a joke -- Bill's home made intake manifolds are Made in USA -- but by the time I was finished I was quite surprised at all the things still made in this country, none of which were purchased for that specific reason (otherwise I would have already known their country of origin) . Even the bulk steel and aluminum I start with are marked USA, which belies the common perception that American metal smelting is DOA (the old mills in Pennsylvania and Birmingham are indeed dead, but there must be enough new baby mills to take up the slack).
