When it comes to supporting domestic industry, where quality of the product is equal to or even higher than import, then yes indeed: I do proselytize about Made in USA. If American products are inferior quality to import, then no: Made in USA is arguably not a good choice. Cost of Made in USA is often higher than import, but in many instances that cost is accompanied by higher quality.

Does anybody remember Sam Walton and the original WalMart? Wally World used to be a sea of Made in USA stickers. Now that his children have sold WalMart's soul to the Chinese, Mr. Walton has probably worn the velvet off his coffin spinning around in there.
