I was planning to use my old bolts as shanks to keep the control arm
in place.  I figure I can use the new bolts to tap out the old bolts.
Maybe this won't work but it makes sense to me.  I guess it just
depends on which side of the control arm the heads of my current bolts
are.  Obviously it won't work if the heads of my bolts are towards the
front of the car.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like your mod just involves
putting a washer on each side of the bushing.  Those bolts must be an
exact fit (for original outrigger design) if they aren't big enough to
hold two extra washers.

I was thinking of installing the outriggers just using the hardware
they come with since I'm so excited about the install.  I can always
go back and add washers if needed.  Perhaps this would make a good
mini tech day for myself and any others that aren't interested in the
Disney World stuff at DCS.  I'm sure several people are interested in
this mod and would love to see how it gets put together.

Btw, I have Henninger's LCAs and love them.  This is just a nice
little mod to make it better than it has to be.
