Re: [DML] Toll Window Placement in Carrier

Fit the carrier back in the door with a line of adhesive in it, run it down into the door.

Then install the glass and run the carrier up to meet it. Leave overnight.

Bingo, perfect alignment

Subject: [DML] Toll Window Placement in Carrier

I (finally) got the toll window glass to release from the carrier. There was a black rubber/adhesive that just didn't want to let go. Anyways now I can see both dimples in the glass. When I put the glass in the carrier, the dimples are about 1/4 wider on each side than the metal tabs in the carrier.

Is the correct placement of the glass to have an equal gap between the metal tabs (on the carrier) and the dimples?

Just FYI - Prior to taking it out one dimple (rearmost one) was just under the end of the metal tab and the other (foremost one) was about 1/2 gap from the tab.

Thanks
