  Hmmm. Actually, I keep my car in neutral when parked, as it tends to sit for fairly long periods of time. The hand brake is snugly on, and the wheels are chocked. It is my understanding that extended stationary time in gear can result in a "stuck" transmission. Also parked my '38 Buick thus.   Even if "myth-busted", it is enough to warrant my precautionary measure.     Drive Stainless     (park carefully)    Robert   VIN 6924
