[DML] Running a DeLorean on Ford Ignition

Last year I made a DeLorean harness to Ford Duraspark adapter for an owner whose ignition module had died (they *DO* die -- there's nothing magical that makes the ignition ECU any different from the idle, Lambda, or lock ECU's, or any other 30 year old ECU for that matter):

I just used his dead ECU to make an adapter of my own:

"Installed" in the car (it's just laying loose in the ECU compartment for now):

How does a DeLorean run on Ford ignition? indistinguishably for a Bosch ECU. They are basically the same thing, except that Duraspark modules are stock items at any Autozone/Adavance/Pep Boys/O'Reilly's/NAPA, etc. They also only cost $27 with a lifetime warranty. Makes sense to carry an adapter in the car even if you don't carry the ECU itself.

Duraspark wiring diagram:

Loose wire for the starter switch probably changes dwell while cranking. I find the car starts just fine without it.
