Re: [DML] The COMPLETE DeLorean crash test videos, report and more.

The 2 stories that I got first hand form Delorean owners about their accidents while in their cars were that they both survived and walked away with out any problems. I heard these stories in the mid-late 80"s.
The first was dry rotted tires  with replacements on order(why on order, I don't know), tire blew and car went off road , up an embankment and ended up with a twisted frame. Doesn't sound like it was that bad of an accident.
Second accident, the person relayed his story to me after bad mouthing his Delorean about had bad the car was. I asked if he still had the car and he answered , "No!". He said he had totaled it. He was driving in the winter and on a curve, he lost it and slid into the woods and totaled the car. I asked if he had gotten hurt? He told me that he had walked away without any problems. And I answered that the car had done its job!
