There is no controversy.  Some people asked questions, some stated possible problems with the design, and others may even have negative opinion on them.  I am not sure how that has become a "controversy". 

I think they are a great concept.  My only reservation on them has been the statements by Mike Loasby.  By no means has that ruled out the possibility of a modification like this being installed on my own car.
