[DML] Re: Misleading advice...



1) Improved access
2) Increased performance
3) No heat damage
4) Looks better (IMHO)
5) Pride & satisfaction in creating something of my own design 
6) Spare muffler to cut open and prove Martin wrong 

Don't know if it's a circus, but it is my car....

BTW: if the NJ owner Marc mentioned also running Spec .01 is the DMA member I am thinking of, that conversion (upgrade) was done completely without my knowledge. He noticed the mufflers on the back of my car, crawled underneath while it was parked and took a good look at what I had done, then recreated it himself. First I knew of his conversion (upgrade) was this year at FFT when he told me to crawl underneath his car and look at the finished installation. As Steve pointed out, you don't have to say a word -- people simply see your modified car in person and draw their own conclusions. The mods (upgrades) stand on their own merits.
