[DML] Starting Issues

Help needed resolving starting issues:

The car sat for 8 months started every two months or so but now it is very, very difficult to start and usually won't start at all, when I do get it running it won't stay running.
Things I did so far...

1.Put fresh gas in (It was pretty empty)
2.Changed Fuel filter
3.Tried jumping RPM because I could not hear the fuel pump. but it would not start even with thr RPM relay jumped? The pump does run then. was not before I guess. BUT it stops after a 15 secs or so. Also hard to start even with starting fluid in the air intake, it does fire though briefly.
Not even after the engine is warm it won't start, does not seem to matter if it is cold or hot! so I guess that rules out the Fuel Acccumulater

1. Solenoid working
2. Micro swicth is tripping when it should.
3. Freq. valve buzzing when it should.

Could it be a BAD FUEL PUMP? its only three years old...
Don't want to waste $100 on something I might not need?

Any suggestios?
