[DML] Re: brake master cyl reservoir, any out there?

Make sure you are trying to remove them in the right direction. They have a head on one end so you must hit them out on the other end after removing the clips. A good whack should do it no matter how rusty they are. Use a small hammer and a pin punch. Be careful reinstalling the reservoir. It WILL fit on backwards but you will not be able to reinstall the master cylinder without the reservoir hitting the booster. Ask me how I know! I found out the hard way after filling the reservoir up with brake fluid and bench-bleeding the master cylinder. I recommend bench-bleeding the master cylinder. It seems to be difficult to properly bleed the dam thing on the booster.
