Re: [DML] DOA will remain D-O-A

You could save tons of $$$$ by having the OPTION of going today's technologies people are turning to items like Kindle to read Books and Magazines..the bottom line for the people that prefer the old fashion TREE KILLING paper format..that is fine..but I much prefer the less clutter-sum electronic format..heck you could even "mail" the magazine out either in CD form(no printing costs and cheap postage) or through email format or on your website to download via password and LOCKED in PDF format to keep any alterations and copyrights from happening..there really is no reason to "make" the expensive paper magazines drain the membership funds..I have the Complete Magazines that I bought from the Bricklin Group(Brickline) that they sold in CD format(in PDF Format)..and they are a MUCH smaller group with less income..It's GREAT and I love cumbersome storage boxes of magazines..just ten CD disks that are stored in a very nice(and small) CD case..that I can store in my sock drawer..that I can print out any page if needed..and quickly find any past articles.. soo if they could do it..there is no reason a Club such as DOA with almost 20K income could not do it..think about the savings in printing and Postage and Labor that it would save. And Be able to USE those savings at major meets...
