Re: [DML] Replacing Radio - how it's done?

If you choose to do it yourself, here's a quick page I put together years
ago when I had to figure out all the pins, connectors, new harnesses,
etc.... maybe it will help you:

http://eskin.net/open/radioharness.html

The new "Radio Wiring Plug Assembly" is no longer available from the
Mid-State Delorean Club, but I think other D vendors can provide it.

I also agree that you need to run new speaker wires using a floating ground
on the new head unit. I tried using the "common ground" on my new Alpine
head unit (I bought a DIN size console frame from Rob Grady), and it almost
blew the system.

Good luck!
